Commissioning, Clarified

Short answers for the first conversation. The four ledgers provide the reasoning behind them.

What does luxury animation mean?

It is a market description, not an accredited production standard. We use it for work commissioned around distinctive authorship, specialist craft and careful production control.

Does a higher quote guarantee better work?

No. Compare scope, proposed specialists, tests, revisions, rights and outputs. Price becomes useful evidence only when the production plan explains it.

How should we compare studios?

Compare relevant attributable work, the proposed creative team and a practical plan for your brief. Do not assume a showreel establishes current staffing or availability.

Should we choose the technique first?

Start with the communication problem and constraints. Treat a preferred technique as a hypothesis, then test whether its expressive and production characteristics fit.

How long does premium animation take?

There is no reliable universal duration. Asset creation, complexity, review turnaround and deliverable count all matter. Ask for a dependency-based schedule with named approval gates.

What should a revision allowance say?

It should identify the stage, included review rounds, feedback route and treatment of changes to previously approved work.

Do final masters include editable source files?

Not automatically. Source files, fonts, plugins, music and other assets may have separate ownership or licence restrictions. Agree editable handover and reuse explicitly.

What is the minimum useful delivery checklist?

List every version, destination, duration, aspect ratio, language, technical specification and rights requirement, then name the person responsible for acceptance.

Does Junglefeedcomet recommend or represent studios?

No. We are an independent informative publication, not an animation production house or booking service. Named studios are editorial examples, not ranked recommendations.
